What is an as-built scan?

An as-built scan is a 3D capture of an existing structure in its current condition, used as the basis for renovation design, addition planning, or condition documentation. We deliver as-builts as Matterport tours (visual walkthrough), iGUIDE floor plans (dimensioned), and LiDAR point clouds (.e57 for engineering).

What is BIM-ready scanning?

BIM-ready scanning produces a point cloud with sufficient density and accuracy to be imported into Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or similar modeling software. We deliver .e57, .pts, and .rcp formats from Matterport Pro3 and Leica BLK360 G2 captures.

How does progress capture work on active construction sites?

We schedule recurring scans (weekly, biweekly, monthly) at key milestones. Each scan is timestamped and accessible to the project team. Compare conditions side-by-side, identify deviations, and document RFIs with a single share link.
