Scan Planner
Which 3D scan do you need?
Tell us what the scan is for and what you need delivered — marketing tours, as-builts, CAD, insurance records, or tax documentation — and we’ll recommend the right capture method in about two minutes.
Step 1 of 4 · What it’s for
What is the scan for?
Pick everything that applies — one scan often serves several purposes.
Which scan type is right for my project?
We match the capture method to the deliverable. Lighter scans are faster and cost less; heavier ones produce data your design team can build from.

A 3D tour is a visual walkthrough with measurements accurate to about 1% at room scale — ideal for marketing and general documentation. An as-built scan adds a registered LiDAR point cloud (.e57, .rcp, .pts) that engineering and design software can measure and model from.
Yes. We capture a LiDAR point cloud with the Matterport Pro3 and deliver drafted 2D CAD drawings or a Revit model built from it. Scan-to-CAD/BIM work is custom-quoted by scope, density, and deliverables.
For pre-loss baselines and post-loss damage records we recommend a Matterport Pro3 scan. It is time-stamped, shareable with adjusters and contractors, and its LiDAR works in low-light and smoke-affected spaces. Xactimate sketches can be quoted on request.
Yes. Cost-segregation engineers, appraisers, and CPAs use a 3D tour with dimensioned floor plans to identify, measure, and document building components without another site visit.
