The best way to choose is to look at real tours a provider has captured, confirm which cameras they use, and check what’s included in the price.

What should you look for in a Matterport 3D tour provider?

  • Official Matterport cameras. A Pro3 or Pro2 gives sharper imagery, accurate built-in measurements, and point-cloud exports; 360 cameras and phones can’t match that.
  • Experience with your type of space: hotels, offices, warehouses, AEC sites, and outdoor areas each need different capture planning.
  • Live tours you can walk through, not just screenshots.
  • Clear deliverables: hosting, embed codes, floor plans, MatterPak and .e57 exports, and Google Street View publishing.
  • Published starting rates and a written quote before the scan.
  • Turnaround: most tours should be delivered within a couple of days.
